Description
– Composition and pharmaceutical forms :
- Ampicillin 250 and Capsules : each capsule contains 250 and 500 mg. ampicillin anhydrous, respectively.
- Ampicillin 125 and dry suspension : each 5ml.of the suspension contains 125 and 250 mg ampicillin anhydrous, respectively.
- Ampicillin 0.5 and 1gm. Vials: each vial contains 500 and 1000 mg. Ampicillin sodium , respectively .
– Indications :
- Typhoid fever and typhoid carriers and paratyphoid .
- Skin and soft tissue infections , skin abscesses and deep abscesses.
- Urinary tract infections .
- Respiratory tract infections.
- Gastrointestinal tract infections : gastroenteritis ( including E.coli , salmonella and shigellosis ) .
- Biliary tract infections : bacillary dysentery.
- Meningitis .
